We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will work on various projects aimed at enhancing sustainability and ensuring compliance with environmental laws. You will play a crucial role in assessing environmental impacts and developing efficient strategies for mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Create structural models and simulations using engineering software.
• Analyze load-bearing structures to ensure safety and sustainability.
• Conduct peer reviews of structural designs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Assist in project management tasks including client communication and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Professional registration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and project management

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Revit
