Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care, managing prescriptions, and consulting with patients on medication usage. You will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to ensure understanding of their medications.
• Process prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Participate in medication therapy management services.
• Educate the community on health and wellness topics.
• Manage and resolve medication-related issues and patient inquiries.
• Monitor drug utilization and report on trends.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
• Work collaboratively to enhance the pharmacy's operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment

• Clinical Pharmacy Skills

Certifications

• Certified Immunizer
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
