We are seeking a passionate Field Research Scientist to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will be involved in diverse fieldwork activities, such as data collection, analysis, and reporting. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in environmental science and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field research projects and coordinate data collection efforts.
• Engage with stakeholders to discuss research findings and implications.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals.
• Utilize GIS software to analyze spatial data.
• Mentor junior researchers and interns in fieldwork procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a scientific field
• PhD is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of field research experience preferred
