Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Animal Care Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating various animal health issues. You will conduct routine check-ups, perform surgeries, and provide essential care to ensure the well-being of our patients. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions in pets.
  • Conduct surgeries and manage post-operative care.
  • Offer consultations to pet owners regarding animal health.
  • Work closely with veterinary support staff to ensure high-quality care.
  • Educate clients on pet nutrition and preventive health care.
  • Document all patient interactions and medical treatments.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.
  • Engage in community events to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in veterinary practice
