Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. Your responsibilities will include managing medication prescriptions, offering healthcare advice, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
  • Advise patients on the proper use of medications.
  • Conduct health screenings and immunizations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
  • Keep abreast of new pharmaceutical developments and treatments.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory and supplies.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and potential drug interactions.
  • Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications to enhance health outcomes.
  • Assist with training pharmacy interns and new staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
