Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Animal Behaviorist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will assess and modify animal behaviours, develop treatment plans, and provide guidance to pet owners. Your work will directly impact the well-being and happiness of our animal companions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and adjust treatment plans based on animal behaviour observations.
  • Utilize positive reinforcement techniques in training sessions.
  • Compile case studies and document progress for animal behaviour cases.
  • Conduct workshops and seminars for pet owners and the community.
  • Stay current on research and advancements in animal behaviour practices.
  • Work with rescue organizations to rehabilitate shelter animals.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing cases and strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Additional qualifications in animal behaviour or training
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a veterinary or animal behaviour setting
