Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and respond to inquiries regarding health issues.
• Perform necessary medical procedures with proficiency.
• Manage chronic conditions and offer preventive health advice.
• Build rapport with patients to nurture healthcare relationships.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists when required.
• Engage in community health promotion initiatives.
• Contribute to the clinic's quality improvement processes.
• Assist in training medical students and interns.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
