As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues. Responsibilities

  • Lead in the diagnosis and treatment of animal health issues.
  • Perform surgeries as needed, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Work with clients to ensure they understand treatment plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to veterinary medicine.
  • Provide oversight in a clinical setting and manage emergencies effectively.
  • Document all patient treatments and outcomes accurately.
  • Foster a compassionate relationship with patients and their owners.
  • Participate in community outreach regarding animal health education.
  • Assist in the training of new staff and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Postgraduate qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical practice experience
