Job Description

As a Molding Line Operator, you'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of various molding machines. Your role involves ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. This includes monitoring machinery performance, conducting routine maintenance, and collaborating with a dedicated team to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Operatively manage injection molding machinery including setup and operation.
• Ensure consistency in product quality and production quotas.
• Conduct equipment inspections and perform repairs as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain communication with supervisors regarding production progress.
• Assist in workflow improvements to enhance productivity.
• Document equipment malfunctions and report them promptly.
• Follow maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
• Contribute to team efforts in achieving production efficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• NQF Level 4 qualification in manufacturing or related field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience specifically in injection molding operations.
