Join our team as an Insurance Underwriter in Pretoria, where you will play a critical role in evaluating insurance applications and determining coverage terms. You'll contribute to our goal of providing exceptional service while maintaining the company’s underwriting standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk profiles of new and existing clients.
• Formulate and implement risk management strategies.
• Participate in negotiations regarding policy terms and conditions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Assist in resolving client queries and complaints related to underwriting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Insurance
• Master's degree in Business or related fields is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or related fields

• Policy Development

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
