Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist in our practice, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients and contribute to their mental well-being by implementing evidence-based treatment methods and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological tests and evaluate the results.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to support clients' needs.
• Conduct follow-up sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Contribute to public awareness initiatives on mental health issues.
• Maintain a client-focused approach in all therapeutic interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or related field
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Clinical Psychologist

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Psychometric Testing

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Clinical Psychologist
• Certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
