Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated General Practitioner who will provide medical services and promote a holistic approach to healthcare. Your main tasks will include patient assessments, treatment planning, and maintaining up-to-date patient records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and manage patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as necessary for treatment.
• Educate patients about health management and disease prevention.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and detailed health records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous medical education and training.
• Coordinate with specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner
