Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our financial team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess strong bookkeeping skills, be proficient with financial software, and be committed to maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a crucial role in managing our financial paperwork and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements.
• Assist with payroll and other administrative tasks.
• Conduct regular audits and monitor financial transactions.
• Serve as a point of contact for any financial inquiries from clients.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial paperwork.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or finance roles

Technical Skills

• SAGE Accounting Software
• Financial Reporting Software

Soft Skills

• Excellent Communication
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Bookkeeping Certification
• SAGE Certification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
