Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our vibrant team in Durban. In this role, you will provide essential support to our veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals while ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside veterinarians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
• Perform emergency care as required.
• Document treatment plans and client interactions accurately.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Promote a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated on veterinary best practices and guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of working as a Veterinary Technician

Certifications

• Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE)
