Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical care and a passion for improving patient health outcomes. This role involves dispensing medication, providing patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead medication therapy management initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to address their medication concerns and questions.
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates within the legal and ethical standards set by health authorities.
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to promote health education.
  • Stay updated with new drugs, therapies, and clinical practices to provide optimal care.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy
