Join our growing team as an IT Support Technician in East London! The ideal candidate will have a knack for solving technical issues and a passion for providing excellent customer support. Your role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software problems, assisting users with various IT-related inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage helpdesk software and track user requests.
  • Perform installations, configurations, and repair of various devices.
  • Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of IT procedures.
  • Help in the development of IT policies and best practices.
  • Support IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Work alongside the IT team to enhance system performance.
  • Provide feedback on system efficiency and user experience.
  • Build positive relationships with users to promote technology adoption.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT assets and licensing.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate required
  • Higher Diploma in IT or related field is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
