Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Clinical Psychologist to enhance our mental health team. Your role will involve assessing patients, counselling, and developing personalized treatment programs. You'll work closely with other healthcare providers to create a supportive and conducive atmosphere for recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead therapeutic workshops and group therapy sessions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient treatment outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse clinical team to enhance patient care.
• Support the development of mental health resources and materials for patients.
• Advocate for patients' rights and promote mental health awareness in the community.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is preferred
• HPCSA registration as a Clinical Psychologist is mandatory

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting

• CBT

Certifications

• HPCSA Clinical Psychology Registration
• Trauma Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• IsiZulu: Basic
