We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our growing team in Durban. You will be responsible for assessing risks and determining appropriate coverage for our clients. The right candidate will possess analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the insurance landscape.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess risk for insurance applications across various sectors.
• Design customized insurance solutions based on client needs.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the claims department to assess risks.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members in underwriting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in insurance underwriting
