Responsibilities

• Supervise the care provided by nursing assistants.
• Participate in the development of nursing care plans.
• Ensure patient comfort by addressing their needs.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Advise on health services and community resources.
• Conduct health education programs for patients.
• Assist with the discharge planning process.
• Foster relationships with patients to enhance care experience.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with SANC registration

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse

Technical Skills

• Patient Care
• Medication Administration

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR): Experience using EHR systems in clinical practice.
