Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for implementing automation processes, managing CI/CD pipelines, and improving application reliability. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of experience in DevOps, familiarity with cloud platforms, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts to automate deployments and system monitoring.
• Ensure the security of cloud infrastructures and applications.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage user access and permissions on cloud services.
• Conduct regular reviews of system performance metrics and reports.
• Support incident response and troubleshooting as needed.
• Create training documentation for DevOps tools and processes.
• Engage with the community and stay informed about industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
