Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to manage insurance applications and assess risk in our Durban office. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team, using your expertise to ensure that all policies meet our standards, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Advise clients on tax planning and risk management strategies.
• Research and interpret current tax legislation and its implications for clients.
• Develop and maintain ongoing client relationships.
• Assist clients in audits and represent them with tax authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive services.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on tax-related topics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a tax consulting role
