Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices, and will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that reduce environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes for efficiency.
• Utilize data analytics to drive process improvements.
• Work collaboratively with quality assurance to maintain high standards.
• Facilitate workshops to encourage innovative thinking across teams.
• Develop solutions that reduce waste and streamline operations.
• Support project management teams in planning and execution.
• Train staff on new processes and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in an industrial engineering role

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
