Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices, and will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that reduce environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements across operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Assist with project budgeting and financial analysis.
• Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with external vendors to integrate new technologies.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in an industrial engineering role
