UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. You will be pivotal in crafting intuitive user experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in user research, wireframing, and prototyping, and a passion for creating user-centric designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead user experience design projects from conception to completion.
• Work alongside developers to ensure design feasibility.
• Conduct A/B testing to assess potential improvements.
• Map user journeys and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders for feedback.
• Document design processes and methodologies.
• Assist in the training of junior designers.
• Promote a user-centered design approach within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Usability Testing
• Design Software

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Communication

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group
• Lean UX Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile processes will be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS: Basic understanding of web technologies will assist in design execution.
