UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As a UX Designer, you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance our digital products, ensuring they meet the needs of our users while aligning with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and test user interactions for web-based and mobile applications.
• Create design assets and coordinate with external design agencies when needed.
• Translate complex ideas into intuitive, accessible user experiences.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of UI updates and iterate accordingly.
• Participate in workshops, reviews, and feedback sessions to continuously improve designs.
• Maintain a strong focus on usability and customer satisfaction in all design activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in HCI or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX and UI design

Technical Skills

• Figma
• Usability Testing

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Presentation Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of WCAG guidelines to ensure products are accessible.
• Experience with design systems: Familiarity with maintaining and creating design systems for consistency.
