Job Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our production team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and experience in production management, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings to discuss goals and performance.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure maintenance is conducted.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to resolve production issues.
• Assist in developing training materials for team members.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance.
• Drive team's quality of work through constructive feedback.
• Utilise data to make informed decisions about production strategies.
• Participate in or lead special projects as assigned.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Operations Management is preferred.

Experience

• Proven track record in a supervisory role within a production environment.
