Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in patient care by dispensing medications and advising on drug therapies, while ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ medication needs through effective consultation.
• Educate patients on nonprescription medications and health supplements.
• Implement safety measures to prevent medication errors.
• Report adverse drug reactions and other safety concerns.
• Develop and review pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Act as a resource for healthcare colleagues regarding pharmaceutical care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and assistants to optimize workflow.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional training in clinical pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy
