• Set up and adjust machines for different shoe production tasks.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any machine malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance.
• Collaborate with other operators and departments to improve production methods.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Keep work areas organized and free of hazards.

• Grade 10 certificate or equivalent
• Relevant certification in manufacturing is advantageous
• Machine Operation Proficient in operating various shoe manufacturing machines.
• Quality Control Skilled in inspecting products for defects and ensuring quality standards.
• Maintenance Skills Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
• Attention to Detail Strong ability to notice imperfections and ensure high quality.
• Teamwork Experience working effectively within a team.
• Problem-solving Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues on the production line.
• Health and Safety Certification
• Manufacturing Quality Assurance Certification
• English (Fluent)

• Ability to work on multiple machines: Flexibility to operate several types of machinery used in footwear production.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role: Experience leading a small team could be beneficial.
