Job Description

Join our team as an Insurance Underwriter, responsible for evaluating risks and determining coverage for new and existing clients. You'll work closely with our sales and claims teams to ensure that our policies align with our clients’ needs while meeting regulatory standards. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical skills and a passion for the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of underwriting files and processes.
• Utilize underwriting software to analyze applicants’ information.
• Assist in the development of product offerings based on customer needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry products and services.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of underwriting experience is preferred

Certifications

• Certified Insurance Underwriter (CIU)
