Job Description

As a Hotel Manager in Durban, you will be at the helm of daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient management of hotel services. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the hotel team to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, forecasting revenue and expenses.
  • Set sales targets and motivate the team to achieve them.
  • Address guest feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain the property to ensure it meets the standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Implement new technologies or processes to enhance guest experiences.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and gather feedback.
  • Manage marketing initiatives and community outreach programs.
  • Analyze market trends to stay competitive in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous

  • 5+ years of experience in hotel management or related roles
