Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will work on health promotion initiatives, assess public health needs, and collaborate with local health organisations to improve community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage effective public health campaigns.
• Engage with the public through health fairs and community events.
• Implement preventive health strategies tailored to community needs.
• Evaluate program performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Promote policies that support community health improvements.
• Lead research projects to assess public health interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health roles
