Seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical design to enhance product and process efficiency. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with other engineers and departments to develop innovative solutions, ensuring our projects meet high-quality standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of mechanical projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials and components.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all engineering practices.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support to clients and other departments.
• Research new technologies and methodologies for mechanical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical system design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
