We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals and families, providing support, guidance, and intervention in times of need. This role involves assessing client needs, developing care plans, and advocating for clients' rights and well-being within the community.

Responsibilities

• Assess the social, emotional, and practical needs of clients.
• Create and implement individual and family support plans.
• Facilitate access to community resources and services.
• Provide direct support and emotional guidance to clients.
• Work with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
• Organize community outreach programs and workshops.
• Document all interactions and maintain client confidentiality.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Promote social justice and community advocacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social work or related field
