We are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Engineer in Johannesburg. Your primary duties will involve designing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems. Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions for electrical system challenges.
• Create detailed engineering plans and schematics.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical project design

Technical Skills

• Electrical Simulation Software
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• IEC 61508 Functional Safety Engineer
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Smart Grids: Experience with integrating smart grid technologies into electrical systems.
