Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Public Health Officer in Pretoria to manage and implement health programs, assess community needs, and create effective health policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health and a commitment to improving community wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Research and monitor health trends affecting the community.
  • Design health promotion materials and communicate health messaging.
  • Establish solid partnerships with healthcare providers.
  • Serve as a public health resource for municipal planning.
  • Analyze and report health data to stakeholders.
  • Work with the media to promote health initiatives.
  • Develop strategies for disease prevention and health education.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's in Public Health or related field is advantageous

  • 3+ years in a similar public health role or related environment
