Job Description

As an Accountant at Accounting Solutions Ltd., you will manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and assist with audits. We seek a passionate individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file necessary tax documentation.
• Facilitate communication with internal and external auditors.
• Assist with financial forecasting and strategic planning.
• Provide training to junior accounting staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Honours or Master's degree in Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting

Technical Skills

• Financial Analysis
• Accounting Software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks)

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• CIMA or similar financial qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in forensic accounting: Background in forensic accounting will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Financial Compliance: Understanding of financial regulations and compliance in South Africa.
