Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer in our Durban office, you will work in a crucial role to enhance our cloud capabilities. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud environments, automation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure continuous integration and delivery, driving our tech initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate system configurations and deployments.
• Work with developers to integrate solutions into the release pipeline.
• Ensure scalability and reliability of cloud infrastructures.
• Implement monitoring tools for proactive system management.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Lead initiatives for improving system stability and performance.
• Review and maintain documentation of system architecture and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related field

Technical Skills

• AWS or Azure
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD Tools
• Scripting Languages

Soft Skills

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
