Job Description

Join our dynamic Johannesburg team as a Chemical Engineer. Your role will include conducting research and development for chemical processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and leading optimization initiatives to improve product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new chemical processes and technologies.
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.
  • Evaluate and select equipment for chemical processes.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to management.
  • Develop training materials for team members.
  • Conduct experiments to test new chemical products.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Support product development through chemical analysis.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
