Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Bloemfontein. This position is ideal for a compassionate professional dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals and families. The successful candidate will provide assessments, therapy, and support to clients dealing with various psychological challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and provide feedback to clients and their families.
• Therapize clients using various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy.
• Document and maintain client files in accordance with ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with external agencies for client referrals and additional support services.
• Participate in ongoing training and workshops to ensure best practices in mental health care.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology preferred
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy modalities is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Trauma-Informed Care

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Cultural Competence

Certifications

• Specialization in Child Psychology

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational
