Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team in Stellenbosch. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide variety of animals, providing essential medical care, performing surgical procedures, and maintaining detailed health records. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to animal welfare and excellent communication skills to develop relationships with pet owners.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animals' health and diagnose illnesses.
  • Conduct surgeries using advanced techniques and equipment.
  • Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the practice.
  • Attend veterinary seminars and workshops for professional growth.
  • Implement new veterinary practices and protocols as appropriate.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Advanced training in specialty surgery is advantageous.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical veterinary practice.
