Clinical Trial Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Trial Coordinator to oversee and manage clinical trials from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the trial process.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and management of clinical trial activities.
• Ensure that trials are conducted in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Manage budgets and timelines for clinical trials.
• Oversee data collection and management to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory documents and reports.
• Conduct training sessions for trial staff on study procedures and compliance.
• Facilitate participant recruitment and communication to ensure engagement.
• Conduct regular meetings with team members to review trial progress and address challenges.
• Collaborate with the Lead Clinical Researcher on study design and protocol development.
• Participate in the analysis and interpretation of trial data.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in clinical trials or healthcare settings

• Protocol development
• Statistical analysis

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA)
• Clinical Research Associate (CRA) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with clinical trial software: Experience with software used for managing clinical trials.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment: Experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
