Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for handling machinery, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with the team to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machinery for production runs.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to machinery alarms and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Train new production team members on equipment operations.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production progress.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive team culture.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools.
• Assist with stocking supplies and managing inventory levels.
• Provide feedback on production processes for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment
