Shoddy Mill Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shoddy Mill Worker to operate and maintain shoddy milling machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing textile fibers and yarns while ensuring quality control throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery and prepare raw materials for production.
• Perform quality checks and maintain high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues immediately.
• Assist in maintaining the inventory of raw materials.
• Document production processes and report any discrepancies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with textile production processes
• Familiarity with inventory management systems

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
