Hobbing Press Operator

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Hobbing Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and ensuring accurate production of metal parts. Your skills in machine operation and maintenance will be vital to our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and timely troubleshooting.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of machine outputs.
• Train new operators on machine setup and operation.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety and efficiency procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Competency in CNC operations preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Machine maintenance
• Precision measuring tools

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift operation certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in quality inspection processes: Hands-on experience with quality assessment techniques.
