As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing top-tier grooming services, ensuring the highest standards of care for the pets entrusted to us. The ideal candidate should have experience in grooming a variety of breeds and possess a genuine love for animals.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services catering to diverse breeds and sizes.
• Support the onboarding and training of junior groomers and interns.
• Develop grooming plans tailored to individual pet needs.
• Document services provided and any notable observations about each pet.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the well-being of all animals.
• Foster a welcoming and positive environment for pets and their owners.
• Promote grooming packages and retail products to enhance customer experience.
• Assess and recommend additional services based on pets' conditions and requirements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care or Grooming

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a professional grooming setting.

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Proficiency
• Bathing and Skin Care

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Pet Groomer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
