Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for new insurance applications.
• Utilize data and analytical tools to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Provide support in developing innovative insurance products tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to enhance client engagement strategies.
• Train and support new team members as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of underwriting best practices.
• Facilitate customer meetings to discuss policy options and adjust coverages accordingly.
• Analyze claim data to inform underwriting processes and improve risk management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Banking, or related field
• Advanced qualification or certification in underwriting is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in underwriting or a related field

• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (ACU)
