Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Soils Engineer who will be responsible for analyzing soil properties, conducting tests, and providing valuable insights for construction projects. Your expertise in soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering will be pivotal in ensuring the stability and safety of various structures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations and testing in the field and laboratory.
  • Create and present detailed reports on soil phenomena, alongside proposals for optimal solutions.
  • Formulate tailored recommendations for construction practices based on soil type and condition.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to soil management during construction.
  • Support project management with precise timelines and milestones for soil engineering assessments.
  • Enhance project quality by optimizing material selections based on soil conditions.
  • Lead initiatives to raise awareness and understanding of soil-related issues within the company.
  • Engage with clients to address concerns related to soil and geotechnical challenges.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge on soil mechanics, tools, and technology.
  • Support sustainability efforts through responsible soil management practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or similar is advantageous
  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification is essential
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the geotechnical engineering sector.
