Special Education Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our inclusive team at ABC Learning Academy. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementing tailored instructional strategies to support students with varying needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement effective strategies for teaching students with disabilities.
• Assist in adapting classroom materials and assessments.
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Liaise with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent support at home.
• Organize and participate in workshops and training sessions.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices.
• Advocate for the needs of students within the academic environment.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Special Education is preferred
• Advanced study in child psychology is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
