Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Financial Planner to provide exceptional financial guidance to our clients. As part of our wealth management team, you will use your expertise to create bespoke financial plans, keeping abreast of market trends and investment options. Qualified candidates are those who are detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and excel in communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed market research to identify new investment opportunities.
• Assist clients in understanding investment risks associated with their portfolios.
• Engage in community outreach to promote financial literacy.
• Deliver presentations on financial planning topics at client workshops and events.
• Maintain accurate financial records and client documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• Master's degree in Finance or MBA is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning or similar role

• Retirement Planning

Certifications

• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluent in Afrikaans or another official South African language: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is beneficial.
• Experience with retirement fund regulations: Understanding of compliance issues surrounding retirement funds is an advantage.
