Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to our clients' financial success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules.
• Manage fixed assets accounting and depreciation.
• Support operational finance and budgeting processes.
• Coordinate with department heads to finalize budgets.
• Participate in financial audits and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards for management.
• Prepare regular reports for tax submissions and other filings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role

Certifications

• CIMA / ACCA certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
