Air Traffic Controller

Job Description

As an Air Traffic Controller, you will play a critical role in managing the safe and efficient flow of air traffic in our controlled airspace. You will collaborate closely with pilots, ground staff, and other air traffic controllers to ensure that all flights operate smoothly and adhere to safety protocols.

• Ensure that all flights comply with safety measures and regulations.
• Collaborate with aviation authorities on air traffic control strategies.

• Maintain a high level of personal and team safety awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Matric / Grade 12
• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
• Valid Aircraft Dispatcher License

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in air traffic control or flight dispatching

Technical Skills

• Weather Monitoring Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ICAO regulations: Knowledge of International Civil Aviation Organization regulations.
• Training in conflict resolution: Training in conflict resolution and emergency management.
